Description
UVC operates a vigorous OEM-manufacturing operation with demonstrated expertise
in developing and producing custom power supplies in the 0 kW-000 kw range.
Many of these projects benefit in terms of both cost and time-to-market
from the use of "off-the-shelf" HV, monitoring, and control modules
derived from
UVC's branded product range.
Examples of recent projects in UVC‚s OEM Division have included:
- 70 kW, 140 kV Medical CT-Scan Type Power Supply, with a remarkably
low ripple specification of 70 volts or less at any frequency up to 10 mHz. - 60 kW, 150 kV Medical Scanning-Beam X-Ray Type Power Supply,
designed with very low stored energy to withstand repetitive arcing
conditions that are intrinsic to the system design. - We are currently supplying E-Beam power supplies for a variety of industrial and medical applications. Many of our E-Beam supplies also contain independently regulated bias and filament outputs set up for either AC or Dc, and at ground potential or floating on the HV potential.
